Costa Rica is the only latin american country with a middle class... Panama is all about the haves and have-nots. If you aren't running a gray area business or are staying away from the USA for personal/tax/legal reasons, I see no reason to live in PC.

and you are right, PTY is expensive.. i spend a few thousand a month here on rent,food,etc.. makes no sense..
hence why im moving back to USA(san diego most likely), at least im spending $x,xxx a month on rent and food but i get good roads, food, mail system, english, amazon, overnight shipping, 20mbps internet, HDTV, etc etc.. ill miss those colombians , although i can always visit panama once in a while.
