have you tried to contact Bank of America? I went in and sat down with someone in their Beverly Hills office to setup my merchant account and have a rate that is lower than probably most of the people out there.
just had to bring some proof of agreements and business description and they were willing to work with me. 1% makes a HUGE difference when doing large transactions. I have a contact there, hit me up and I'll forward it to you.
btw, Visa/MC funds are available next day and amex/discover takes approx 2-3 business days to deposit
