Can anyone give a word of advice?

I am moving to a new place and need to
1) decide on internet access (Cable or DSL)
2) set up a network for 2 computers to use the internet. (wireless?)

Anyone know of resources to read or personal experiences to guide me? Products to buy/avoid?
