Getting lazy or remarkably slower directly after eating is a quite common behaviour. Try eating something which isn't so saturated with fat. A normal adult would for lunch be able to fully function on around 10 pieces of sushi. That will also not fill your stomach, it's not that hard to digest but you still get enough energy to keep working without feeling the dizzyness.

Start your day early, a good time to get up is about 7 AM. Do a good, steady breakfast, preferrably with some dairy products, like sour milk or so and a few pieces of whole wheat bread.

By 10 AM it's time for a fruit, an apple or a banana and possibly a cup of coffee if you care for it.

Lunch is best servered between 12-1.30 PM to fit into this schedule. Why not try some sushi? Whatever you drink to your meal, make sure to get an extra glass of water.

By 3 PM it's time for a cup of coffee, a biscuit or a second fruit for the day.

And between 5 and 7 PM it's advisable to get dinner. Now, how about a nice steak? Go for it, but choose other side serving than french fries.

Try it, and you will see that your performance, concentration and overall ability will increase.
