Yup, this i true. Don't let it get you down tho, cos all you have to do is look to ebay.es, ebay.co.uk, ebay.fr, ebay.de et al. Lots of traders are selling across europe with the listing in the language of the ebay page, but only answer support emails in english (or at best a google translate in the languae of the user)

And it clearly works for them. Still, I'm biased cos I can speak English in a non-english speaking european country!
