Back when Obama first got elected and the democrats swept into the house and senate there was talk that the democrats could shape the next 10-15 years of policy in the US because they thought that Obama, he serves 8 years, could appoint 3-4 justices and since there is a census this year and a redistricting to follow the democrats would control that and they could shift the districts in their favor.

I suppose it still could happen, but it looks like they are doing as the democrats do which is find a way to fuck up a perfectly good situation.
