If you cannot see the difference between a social media website and talking on the phone to family in germany everyday (the cost would be astronomical) than its no wonder you dont see to understand what the sites are for. (sharing videos commenting on them with family members, sharing pictures of our baby and having family in France comment on our baby).... etc...

Has nothing to do with being private, if you arenot close to your family and have no desire for contact sure avoid it, but many of us use this FREE service everyday and just because you have no use for it and dont seek communication with your lolved ones doesnt change the fact the service is both useful and negates the use of calling family overseas everday.

I love FB it lets me keep close to famiyl members I havent talked to in years because they live overseas. Not all of us are isolated hermits!@@
