I'd go see a neurologist, a few of them. I have suffered from migraines my entire life, have had 10 years worth of MRI's, cat scans, brain wand scans, etc and just a couple months ago they found a pituitary tumor.

After the neurologist looking back at my past mri's/mra's, they saw that the tumor was in fact there this entire time.

I was lucky it is binign and it is treatable by medication. I am currently taking Bromocriptine and I feel great. Haven't had a severe headache in almost a month now and rarely get headaches period.

My prolactin was around 1800 before I started taking medication and dieting, went to my Endocrinologist on this past friday and it is down over 70%, although the tumor is still affecting my thyroids a bit, but a bit more time on the medication should take care of everything.

I have to take the medication for the rest of my life, but it's only $20/month with my insurance.

I would definitely get more opinions if your headache is that bad and would suggest you go to the hospital if you were having back problems and now headaches, you can have a bleed.

Get second/third opinions on anything that might be serious.

Not trying to scare you, but it's something you want to do before it gets too late.
