Plus, they get additional benefits that affiliates don't see; increased backlinks, improved Alexa rankings, and branding.
Besides, I keep a portion of the traffic we buy for my own sites, so I *do* monetize it myself.

thx, my budget is up to $10 per signup, do you find this reasonable? if i went to you and said i want 100 signups my 1st month with you and here is $1000, could you or any reputable traffic reseller deliver on that?
