Means you should be able to print that many pages a month without it breaking down on you.
Whatever you do, don't get a Lexmark. I bought a colour laser Lexmark and I don't like it. It sounds like someone hitting the desk with a hammer every time the cylinder flips around to load the different colour cartridges, once it kicks into sleep mode it takes about 3 full minutes to warm up again, and the fan is so loud that you don't want to turn the power saver mode off. Also, the colour cartridges are way too expensive, although they do seem to last forever.
The colour print quality is no where near as good as a inkjet. Mainly just good for business graphics, not for photos.
Our black and white HP is far more reliable and works better in every way.
