do you shoot for dvd? talk to me i need answers
i briefly spoke with a handful of dvd distributors at Aee and was pitching my indian web series to a few of them. i've asked them all the same questions and got a variety of answers... if you're already shooting for dvd answer me a few questions plz, trying to make an educated decision as to who to go with and not get ran over in the process much appreciated
- is it normal to concede your Vod rights to a dvd distributor?
- do you get a flat rate per scene/title/series or is it based on sales volume, royalties, etc?
- whats the going rate for a batch of niche/pov/amateur stuff i shoot, considering its rarity
