What license are you talking about? A business license, drivers license, or what?
Operating without an assumed business name, city business license, or even a tax payers ID may be illegal, but nobody cares except when you try to open an account at a bank as some company name.
Just about all pornstars I know operate under thier own names, meaning no license is needed and some of them don't even have a drivers license too
Same goes for the so called Agents who find a girl and get a finders fee...they are simply operating under their own names and it is up to them to report the income to the IRS....or not.
You know, every industry has its scumbags, thief's and scam-artist. Anyone with simple common business sense can spot these guys and if you deal with them and get burnt, nobody is going to cry for you. And, those without any business sense we just laugh at them.
The Adult Industry is no different than any other industry; its dog eat dog, cutting out the competition and getting as much as you can out of what you got. If someone can pull a shitty on you that is of no cost to them and they won't get caught, they will do it regardless if it is legal or illegal.
As for publishing names, black list, white list, and all that...it is meaningless. Nobody is going to care for your sob story, and if the SOB that you are whining about is someone I am doing business with, ill probably point out the story and I am sure they have a different view of things. BUT as long as the business deal work, nobody give a shit about past offences and problems.
