I found that site a couple of years back when my shih tzu went off her food. She's a pain in the butt eater and wants what I call junk food dog food.. ones full of corn, etc.
I have fed premium foods for many many years and have found that with the better quality foods the pet eats less of it to get the nutrition they need because not as much of it is fillers. They don't go through a bag of the good stuff as quickly as they do the bad stuff. To me in the long run, it probably evens out the cost.
Right now I'm still trying to get her to settle into a 5 or 6 star food (according to that site). I'm working with the Fromm Chicken A La Veg and the Artemis Fresh Mix. Ordered small bags from Petfooddirect to start with.
