I don't believe any of these articles are remotely truthful. If this really happened, it would be front page news around the world.

While your a bit harsh there, I can see this happening in the US. There are some areas where law enforcement doesn't go to unless they go in with large numbers. Hell, I live in a nice area and when cops are called out after hours they show up in force.
