This is for the entire country....
so there were no riots, 10k more police on the streets than 2008/9 and 1000 cars were burnt (I regularly see burnt cars at the side of the road - every country has its problems controlling youth violence...)
So, let's agree this isn't some massive media cover up by countries cos in fact nothing out of the ordinary never actually happened for a country of 62 million on a New Year's Eve

1000 burnt cars in 1 night is acceptable and normal?
Think about it, 1,000 cars on fire in one night. That is a hell of a lot of cars.
In Canada, a country of 30 million, I highly doubt 1,000 cars are burnt in a year.
Maybe it's a European thing, but I cannot fathom 1,000 cars burning in one night, that is just insane.
