No one I am aware of has said that Polar Bears can't swim, indeed Polar Bears are quite adept natural swimmers. That has never been the point...
The argument is that the natural habitat of the Polar Bear is disappearing at an alarming rate. Even the Bush Administration EPA acknowledged this, even while refusing to place the blame on global warming.
The "Great Global Warming Swindle" has been pretty thoroughly debunked, as polemic pseudo-science, despite it's initial acceptance by many.
The only people that keep trotting out this anti-environmentalist tripe are people like OnWebCam (Birthers, etc), who believe that President Obama is not a U.S. citizen, and other such nonsense.
Granted, there is plenty of room for reasonable debate on either side of the global warming issue, however it is still ridiculous to commit environmental suicide...
