You can't get exclusive up to the minute content of your favorite porn star on Tubes ... but you can't get the immense amount of varied porn on a members site generally. So surely there's a place for both? Look what YouTube does with it's ads now. They're generating revenue, and they're branching into more than just videos, and undoubtedly they're have a revenue model for that too. Can't see YouTube making back the $1.6b it paid but they're not about that ... the site is more valuable than the cash they paid for it ... it's a portal to more things, like now they use it to promote other Google apps, such as Chrome etc (where I downloaded it from).

Tube sites aren't evil. The people that run the illegal ones may be assholes trying to scam a buck from the people who made it. But there is a potential there. There's potential with everything.
