I trained and trained fighters for a living. My body is alway hurting. Knees, shoulder, etc. Most of the fighters i know are all taking different types of pain meds to keep up with the life style. Its really a hard way to live when you hurt everyday and you have a fight coming up.
I used to know most of the fighters, but there are so many new ones coming in and weeding out the old.
I enjoy UFC but it is a serious human grinder that leaves a trail of bodies of fighters that did not make it in its wake. They end up working the doors at strip clubs and bars and always hoping to get another shot at getting back into the UFC.(that generally doesnt happen. you loose 3 in a row, you get cut.)
Thats why i made the jump into laser and lighting production in Hollywood. Made great money there, then made the move to porn. Saw all of this coming with the explosion of mma. A lot of serious competition and very little money at the start.
Rampage made a smart move going to Hollywood. He will have a decent acting career, But he will also be back to UFC because he sells tickets where other fighters will never leave the strip club.
I still train and now BJJ and MMA is fun for me. I teach my friend for free and look forward to training. Its funny, i hurt and feel it everyday, but when i limp onto the matt and start rolling, i never feel any pain and I seem to not have any weakness.
