Personally, I'll do what is needed to keep my stuff safe. I'll fedex my laptop to my hotel if I have to. It wouldn't be the first time.

I want to be safe when I fly and I am willing to let some TSA guy look at my junk if it will catch the next guy with a bomb in his shorts. (Sweet Jesus, Martha, just look at the size of that thing!!)

I'm all for getting the suitcases out of the cabin. Most of the time the suitcases belong to people in a rush to get off the plane and avoid baggage pickup. Let them wait like the rest of us. Sorry, but, suitcases and backpacks belong with the baggage.

I travel internationally and the USA's terrorist prevention methods are looser than a lot of places I've been. I'm all for a little tighten up.
