The state department gave out the visa to this guy. The state department runs the embassy that his father gave a warning to. If you ask me this was more of a failure of the state department than homeland security.

You can keep make new rules to prevent the attacks of the past but they will always find a way around it. Everyone has to put their shoes through the X-ray machines because of the shoe bomber so this guy put the bomb in his underwear. Next time it will just be in a balloon up his ass if they start patting down our underwear.

We have to catch these guys much earlier and the state department could have done something about it.
