The issue is it is against the law to produce with a minor under any circumstance just like it is against the law to serve any minor alcohol. Instead of acting like a man and owning up to the situation in response to her allegations, he placed all the blame on her and painted himself as a victim and that someone was trying to harm his business. The fact that the content remained on his site for an entire year and members downloaded the videos and affiliates marketed the video exposes all of them to distribution/possession/promotion of a sexual performance by a minor. And if Kelsie's accusation is to be believed, then Dirty D would have known she was underage by telling her to write down exactly what is on the ID she was told to bring with her. It was poor judgment on his part in any sense that could have taken down a lot of innocent people in the process.
Just remember, ignorance of age is not an acceptable defense in a court of law. Just the same, if a 17 year old has a fake ID and goes to a bar and gets picked up and fucked sideways til Sunday in a state that's age of consent is 18, saying her ID stated she was 18 is no defense. In adult, you take even bigger risks because you have demonstrate that you in good faith did all you can to verify the model's identity and verified the information provided. If he was diligent, he would have seen the picture of Kelsie's friend on the ID looks nothing like Kelsie to begin with which should have raised flags. But we can't have little issues like that occur when we need to get our content shot now can we?
