I had it just a while ago, 1/2 cup of rolled oats and 1 cup of milk cooked on the stove.
I didn't add any sweetener or anything, just the oats and milk. I wanted to get a 'base feel' first..
I think the consistency was just about right and the taste wasn't too bad, but I'm gonna add some flavor next time for sure!
I had read several times how filling oatmeal is and holy crap is it ever filling, I had to force myself to eat the last spoonfuls and now I feel like I have a brick in my stomach.
Maybe it wasn't such a good idea having that scrambled egg and slice of whole grain bread with peanut butter before the oatmeal lol
Thanks for the feedback and tips everyone, I'm gonna try some of the ideas posted here to spice things up. I see many morning of experimenting fun in my future.
