My problem is that if you're a cop and you get caught in a sting, they let you go (unless the media gets wind of it and then they burn you). If you are not a cop, you go to jail and court and they try to shame you into not doing it again by publishing your name in the paper, which IMHO is downright draconian. It should not be the kind of offense they take you to fucking jail over. A ticket and a court date is more than enough for that kind of offense, unless you're intoxicated and behind the wheel, in which case you're a danger to society. Cops take you to jail for the STUPIDEST fucking things.
