Dating sites API abuse (Amateurmatch)

So this seems like the new trend.

Harvest e-mails, API them and hope that people will sign up.

Quite ingenious really because people are presented with a convenient login link and a username/password right in their inbox. Because they are 'members' already. And as soon as they click on the link they become confirmed so it's like getting paid for a first-page submit.

I got 3 e-mails with 'Your Account Information' and 'Don't forget to login' from DatingGold within the past few days .. and I obviously never signed up for it... nor on other dating sites.

If someone from dating gold wants to track the affiliate, the username that they made me is 'silkenfaith'

Though with the amount of sales they push they will like not get canned.

I really do pity the new wave of surfers. Shady CPA offers, toolbars, unsolicited registrations.
