oh, it hurt like a mofo if my foot wasn't elevated on the couch. veins bulging out, foot discolored, limping around when standing. then the whole thing just went away. pretty weird. i was actually hoping they would just diagnose me with something (even gout), and at least it would no longer be a mystery. other possiblilites were a blot clot (ruled out) or diabetes, which my doctor thinks is pretty unlikely.
