Ableton 8, Roland TB303, and Roland 101, MXR distortion pedals, MusicMan Stingray Bass Guitars were used.
Martyn (Inspiral Carpets bassist - This is how it feels, Saturn 5 - so yes the track is legit, Alan) and Simon , used their secret SPARTAK techniques to get the sub bass and drums really pumping. They like to treat synths like guitars and vice versa so they made sure the main synth hook was given a lot of sonic manipulation, resulting in a hook that pushes the track along yet compliments the vocal. The track was given some intense mastering, ensuring the sub bass frequencies could be heard without overtaking the mix. From my side i did my best...the most difficult part was to register the orgasms and moans fx effects because i had three guys in me lol
