It's not other webmasters' jobs to answer your question - it's your lawyer's job.
If my lawyer told me to go ask someone else, I'd have 2 words for him/her... "You're fired."
Contact one of the industry's well-known lawyers and ask them - they will be familiar with this issue even if your lawyer isn't.
