:2cents Performance, your site, and Google

Google Caffeine is just around the corner, and like the name suggests, along with several public statements recently published by google and google employees, a larger emphasis will be put on your sites performance (speed). Google has also just recently added to their google webmasters site a tool that analyses your site's performance and offers you a free tool to track down optimization opportunities you may be missing.

So here is a freebie I yanked from Matt Cutt's blog (head of google webspam)
webpagetest.org

It is an extremely useful tool you can use to analyze in great detail the performance of your site and the things you need to do to improve your sites load speed. Most people will notice their sites are not up to par, and it is my suspicion that sites that lag will be devalued - based on everything im getting from Google. So be sure to fix your pages before the big ass update January 1st.

For 20 bucks a page(you should be using dynamic pages rather than a million static ones) I can help you attain your A ratings for everything but CDN (CDN is having your site replicated all over the world to reduce distance based load inefficiencies). Large jobs with alot of pages are negotiable of course, I realize 20 bucks a page could get expensive quick, so if you require this service, contact me and I will work with you.
