It sucks when you can't be happy in your own home.
And I'm sure you want to get back at him. But, honestly, he's gone, you can enjoy your place again, and going to court over a few hundred dollars will just bring you more headaches.
As much as it sucks, you might want to just let it go and get back to living your life.
