Something else to consider about the gay market is it seems like they are a lot more proactive in protecting their content. Titan Media sues the fuck out of people that upload and share their content, and that is the kind of company you want to promote.
Back in my porn store days when VHS was still king we would sell the typical straight porn new release at $39.95-$49.95, but gay new releases were always in the $64.95-$69.95 range, and we would sell the shit out of them. Our wholesale costs on the gay porn tapes were a little higher, but if we wanted to we could have gouged people and sold the tapes for $80 a pop and still made a fucking killing. Gay porn sells...
