would have sucked if it turned out he was a deaf mute who's child was choking to death and he was just trying to call an ambulance. after knocking he assumed nobody was home.
Imagine yourself being a deaf mute, your child is choking or bit by a rattlesnake or something , your on a country road, car wont start or runs out of gas, you would be in a panic, you wouldnt be knocking a light knock , you would be frantic banging on the door.
