Riddle me this then. If the surfer searched "crackwhore confessions" or "crackwhoreconfessions.com" why did they click Shoe's link then and not the first place ranking in the SERPs?
You're damn fucking right that the text used drew attention. He pulled the click from the sponsored inks, over a first place Google ranking. Somethign they saw enticed the click on his link via the text he used.
Anyone who has fucked with paid traffic to any extent understands what CTR is and how different text/creatives can and will draw clicks at a different rate. Writing good sales text is AN ART.
