No matter how much you dislike it, being ignorant isn't a good thing - something you're fully aware of, since you felt the need to point out several times that YOU of course do know where the UK is.

I don't know if you realize it or not but I can't control what Joe Sixpack knows. I was merely trying to point out that an American not being able to locate the UK on a map doesn't mean jack shit.
I don't know how much more clearly I can state my point. You think that being able to locate more countries on a map somehow makes you superior. Frankly I think that is a stupid attitude. You can work an atlas. You're the man!
