It is pretty much a no-win situation.
Once we leave, in 1 year or 10 years, Afghanistan will never be a western style democracy anyway, and it will be run by lunatics no matter what.
The only person who is COUNTING on an attack is Dick Douche bag Cheney. He is just waiting to say "I told you so" even though he has no right to say anything, as he was a big part of the problem to begin with.
Anyway, we will all live until we die. Such is life. In a few billion years our sun will go supernova, and all remains of the human animal, and the planet we are on, will be gone.
