Also, the hair is a very smart idea. I read some articles that stated it's a political move. She wears her hear like that so she can relate to the common people of Ukraine and she is regarded as the mother of the country. Her clothes are modern (entire wardrobe is Louis Vuitton) but the hair is traditional; she is the mix of old and new, like Ukraine. The hair works in her favor. She never wore her hair like that before she was in politics... She used to have brunette hair
