If they belong to your sponsor(s) I'm pretty sure you can use them since your promoting them. One way to be sure is to write them and ask if you can use a few of there pics for a banner. dude, you really need to take a fucking lesson on content and copyright.
some of the content that you took from his sponsor may be leased content from a provider.
what that means is that his sponsor purchased/leased the content from someone else and they have a license agreement.
the license agreement usually limits the amount of domain names the content can be hosted on and also specifies that only the purchaser/lessee can use the content.
so it has nothing to with being cheap and everything to do with respecting contracts.
but you wouldn't have a fucking clue about that because you steal all your content.
