I have the exact same reaction ... the "large" picture you link to isn't but a hair bigger than the thumbnail, and they do look like images that would link out to a video clip. Perhaps use this for a movie gallery layout and hook those thumbs up to a 10 sec clip? I'd also try this: have thumbs so that they fit 3 across, thus reducing them a bit, so there's a noticeable size difference when they click to see the larger image. Otherwise, it does look good, you have nice text and crisp eyecatching sales areas.
