my ex used to hit me a lot.. in public even.. once was at the players ball when i showed a female friend where the bathroom was...
worst was when i came home around 4am after partying all night and locked her out of the bedroom.. she kicked in the door and attacked me.. then there was a knock at the door, turns out the neighbors called the cops. she admitted she hit me and they told her that they could arrest her if i wanted to, i declined.
you know if it was revered and i hit her they would of dragged me off in cuffs no questions asked.
