Here's a clue, Germany is NOT the USA. And if it take 20 minutes for your bulbs to get bright then they suck. I have no issues with the one I use and I appreciate the saving son my electrical bill every month. Even the ones outside are totally bright even in the winter ( where it's typically in the 20s at night where I live )within 5 minutes. Maybe you Germans suck making lightbulbs. I know you guys were used to making things out of dead jews and you can't do that anymore so perhaps that's the problem.
I don't use CFLs because some law told me too or because I feel I'm "saving the planet" I do it because I save money. Over the lifetime of the bulbs they'll save me over $500. I have better things to do with that $500 than to give it to the electric company. Perhaps you don't.
