The studies about estrogen were done using doses unheard of in human consumption. Talking about mega doses. The poor dudes were just fed quantities that were way beyond anyones typical daily consumption levels ever would be to see how much of the isoflavones would degrade into estrogen.
That of course was just silly and messes with the whole health reasons to consume some per day, and anywhere from 1/4 to 1 cup a day of soy will give you all the good benefits with no risks. Of course people can consume much more without worry. Only for sure hard fast rule is that nobody should ever eat raw soy beans, Asian or not.
Plus soy has no negative effects on Asian men at all.
I do find it funny that it is sort of negative health food spin. Curious who funded the studies.
