I looked at the various options they had and spoke to their customer service to ask about a secondary battery option and they don't seem to have that at all :-(

I might have seen it, I think I saw you working on a laptop one day.
Right now I narrowed it down to the X200 or the T400, both Thinkpads.
The T400 supports 2 batteries at the same time giving 12+ hours battery time and plenty of juice
