Since you clearly have not consulted with a lawyer, perhaps you should at least READ the laws for yourself.

If you are a webmaster, in the US, then you MUST comply. IF your content provider is not subject to the same laws and has not chosen to be compliant then you are breaking the law.

How does the saying go? Something like "It is better to allow people to think you are an idiot rather than open your mouth and remove all doubt."
