If so, how long into the marriage was this or was it even before you got married.
If not, how honestly happy are you? - As in, "this life is tolerable, im to comfortable to leave" to "my wife and I are best friends, I couldnt leave without her" to "everyday i wake up and see my wife, i feel like the luckiest man in the world"
Yes I would do it again.
I am heading into 3 years.
I am very happy with being married to her. It does make my life tolerable. I am certain I could not live without her. I also have a near impossible time sleeping if she is not around, I feel giddy when I do see her each morning.
I am very damn lucky.

I will disagree. Sure the churches have sort of hijacked it. Does not make it a bad idea. Earlier it was used to unite families and build up strength. Though there has been forms of marriage way before there was even Christianity, plus it is practiced in other cultures where it has no religious attachments. Sometime it is just about assets or trades.

Now I am not "legally" married if you mean by getting it done via a church and a license. We established all of a married rights via written contracts, limited power of attorney, etc. Actually it is more solid than a Legal Marriage. By solid I mean harder to get out of at will and things like that. Only downside is there are no tax advantages.
