I've recently quit my day job, and my boss has a form of cancer that she'll be going for treatment for soon and may not make it through. She has been the best boss I've ever had at a formal place of employment.

Now not too long before my last day she told me about her financial situation. She says that she has a trust fund from her grandfathers company and that she plans on leaving me something since I've "touched her heart" so much (says she is going to leave me $100k).

I told her I did not feel comfortable accepting that, and I didn't think it was a good idea etc. She says I have no choice in the matter. Anyways, for some reason this has made me feel uncomfortable. I basically just went on "offline mode" on IM for like two days and within the time two of my inboxes are filled with emails like every 30 min asking where I am and to log into chat, etc. and saying she has important things to tell me etc.

Much of her story doesn't seem to add up completely. In terms of cars she drives and things it is pretty obvious she could never afford those things on her salary alone, but somehow the story she has told me sounds pretty far fetched and doesn't add up.

I also don't understand why she would make up a story like this either. She already had my full support before I knew any of this, it's almost like she's trying to give me a reason to not bail on her through tough times, but if anything this has made things really weird for me.

She has also told me she has "feelings" for me, as in more than an employee or a friend feelings. I'm feeling pretty creeped out. WTF should I do? I've agreed to meet with her tommorow night.
