No reason to argue like you said. I was not making excuses for myself. I know damn well it was the Sf - Oakland bay bridge. I understand why you corrected me. Plus you do love to correct people or as you say argue semantics.

For sake of semantics, it is really called The James "Sunny Jim" Rolph Bridge, it is called several names though. Considering that there are 6 brides into SF anyways I guess it would be easy for people to get confused. Then again some may only think that it has one bridge, the one you referenced.

Does not matter really what you have ever heard what people on the SF side calls it. Sides really do not matter when it comes to names. Just like nobody living there refers to where they live as SF, San Fran, nor San Fransisco. Most just call it the City, but we are not just talking to such residents nor using their language.
I know what its real name by the way because my grandfather helped build the bay bridge. Like I said i just called it the wrong name when I was posting and should never of abbreviated it if I was going for one of the many names it does have.
