you will learn as you get older that few things in life are fair. the actions and behavior of others are rarely going to be seen as just in your eyes... and that when you choose to needlessly antagonize others, you might find yourself in a fight, a fight which you are unprepared for and that you did not intend to fight... and in one where the cost is vastly greater than that changing a simple graphic and a fight, which you cannot win.
If you've came up on some Islamic nations radar for using their flag on your website... how difficult is it for you to simply remove it? They singled you out. Why respond with arrogance and disrespect to what they perceive to be one of the greatest insults imaginable to them?
What do you have to gain by being a disrespectful ass? Nothing
What do you have to lose by being a disrespectful ass? Who knows.
You forget in the safety of your country, while living your sterile life that you are dealing with people who have a vastly different perspective than you. They aren't interested in what you believe your rights to be. They might very realistically look at killing you as being their duty to Allah.
You can't possibly count the cost of fighting an enemy you don't know, of one who's determination and motivation you can't possibly estimate or understand and one with the resources of a nation behind it, in addition to 1.6 billion people who would all agree that you've insulted them in the worst way possible.
Grow the fuck up... change the graphics.
