Get insurance from your current auto insurance company. Do NOT buy insurance from the rental company. It's way too expensive and whatever they tell you, you do not need it. If you already have auto insurance just tell them you plan to rent a car and they will cover you for everything for an extra $25.00 per Year or LESS. Try it!
