nowadays a grungy punk bar still counts as "clubbing" in my mind, just as a goth club counts, or the Metro or Oil City or wherever, when I think of "clubbing" I lump them all together, going out where there is booze and girls is the overall concept, regardless of the exact music that is playing
it's all good ( although a Blues club you might have greater odds of people buying draft beer at a senior's special
)
