If someone is really in need, people in America will bend over backwards to help. If you've ever worked in a gov social service office like I have and see the kinds of cars and jewelry clad people that show up for food stamps and other hand outs, you will see of all the people in need maybe 10% really need the help, the other 90% simply refuse to put buying food for their children first rather than living without a nice car, 2 tv's, a microwave, cable and an xbox for themselves.
