You might have to clarify something. In your first post you said:

If you are encoding the clips that you're publishing on your site, then you'll ultimately have control over the bitrates, framerates, resolution, and etc. This would allow you to maintain a steady encoding profile.

I'm curious as to why you said "convert through jw". To the best of my knowledge, the popular JW Player is just a video player and will not encode video. If you're going to encode videos on your server, you'd need to utilize something like ffmpeg.

Also, when you say "affiliate", do you mean you are a sponsor program and you have affiliates who will be using your content, or do you mean you're an affiliate who will be using content from sponsor programs?
